"Dealing with Social Media in Athletics," Sherry updated all coaches and athletes at Otterbein University regarding legislative conversations, freedom of speech issues, and penalties received by professional and college athletes in November 2012.

"Using the Tsunami of Social Media in the Workplace." Sherry is presenting this semester-long topic as a senior lecturer at Otterbein University in autumn 2012.

"Addicted at Birth," an in-depth look at babies born addicted to painkillers written by Sherry Beck Paprocki, earned first place honors in the state of Ohio, presented by the Cleveland Press Club and the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists in 2012. The article appeared in Columbus Monthly magazine in 2011. Columbus Monthly earned the top statewide award for best magazine with a circulation under 100,000.

Sherry is voted to sit on the national board of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, based in New York.

"Building Your Personal Brand," Sherry addressed students in the Martin W. Essex School for Gifted and Talented at Otterbein University, June 2012.

"Building Sales (with your personal brand)," Sherry moderated this session presented by renowned business author Stephan Schiffman during the 2012 conference of the American Society of Journalists and Authors in New York, April 2012.

Sherry works with ASP Westward in Houston, Texas to brand two new magazines (copyrighted by RS Rock Media, Inc.) Houston's Dream Backyards was launched in February, 2012, and Healthy Moms/Healthy Kids was launched in May 2012.

Sherry advises the staff of 1847 magazine at Otterbein University as students launch the new title during January term (2012).

"Career Relevance during the Social Media Tsunami," Sherry was the keynote with this topic for alumni of Ohio State University-Newark and the Central Ohio Technical College, March 2011.

"Branding Yourself as a Freelance Writer," Sherry addressed this topic at the Worthington Public Library, January 2011.

"The Tsunami of Social Media," Sherry addressed this topic for medical professionals at the Medical Center of Newark, March 2010.

Sherry spoke about social media at the 10th Annual Ohio School Improvement Institute conference November 20-21 in Columbus, Ohio. The theme is "21st Century Toolbox: Creativity, Innovation and Collaboration". Learn more.
